The National Employment Agency revealed extensive prospects for the labor market in Bulgaria, forecasting the appointment of around 262,000 professionals by the end of 2025. The study covers the ambitious plans of 59,219 local companies focused on expanding their teams.

The greatest demand is expected for specialists with secondary education – a total of 153,000 job positions. Employers show exceptional interest in personnel in traditional professions such as construction, tailoring, cooking, accounting, and technical maintenance.

The labor market demonstrates a serious imbalance, characterized by an acute shortage of qualified employees. Especially sensitive sectors such as healthcare, construction, and information technology are experiencing a strong hunger for quality specialists.

Companies are revealing readiness to invest in additional qualification and training of potential employees. This approach promises to expand employment not only in large cities but also in secondary regional centers, which may trigger positive economic transformations.
