The management of Bulgaria Air officially announced the launch of a large-scale international project related to the resumption of the direct air route to Israel. The strategic decision provides for six weekly flights that will be operated with fully modernized Airbus A220 series aircraft.

The new route, officially starting on July 31, 2025, aims to strengthen economic and tourism ties between the two countries. The carrier relies on its modern fleet of aircraft – specifically the A220-100 and A220-300 models, which guarantee maximum comfort and passenger safety.

Experts predict a significant economic effect, with expectations of increased interest among business travelers and the tourism sector. The restoration of the direct route is seen as a strategic move to expand the international presence of the Bulgarian national carrier.
