Today, on July 29, the headquarters of the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad (EABA) will launch a large-scale initiative for the consolidation of Bulgarian cultural communities abroad. The official founding meeting is scheduled for 2:00 PM in the agency's building, located at 2A Prince Alexander Dundukov Boulevard.
The main goal of the newly formed association is to create an effective communication platform between Bulgarian cultural organizations from different countries and institutions in the homeland. The organizers emphasize the importance of strengthening the spiritual connections between our compatriots abroad and Bulgaria.
Among the leading initiators of the event are established international Bulgarian organizations, including the Confederation of Bulgarian Cultural Organizations and Figures Abroad. Other co-organizers include the Art Salon "Seli" from Bat Yam, Israel, and the Salon for Bulgarian Culture and Spirituality from Chicago, USA.
Parallel to the founding meeting, at 1:00 PM in the Rotunda on the seventh floor of the agency, a special author's exhibition by Canadian artist Mira Kopanarov will be opened. Her works are dedicated to the Glagolitic alphabet and carry a message of peace.
For preliminary information regarding the association's draft statute, interested parties can contact the organizers via email: snejana_galtcheva@yahoo.com. The initiative promises to unite Bulgarian cultural associations from around the world into a common network.
