Bulgarian gymnasts with impressive results at the European Youth Olympic Festival

Young Bulgarian athletes achieved remarkable rankings in Osijek, Croatia, with results that place them among the leading gymnasts in European youth sports.

At the European Youth Olympic Festival in Croatia, Bulgarian gymnasts demonstrated high mastery in individual competitions. Mikola Nakov impressed the jury, taking fourth place in horse exercises, missing the bronze medal by only 0.33 points with a final result of 13.033.

In the men's vault, the champion was Mikita Prohorov from Germany with a result of 13.533. Nasko Mikov ranked eighth in free exercises, receiving a score of 13.233 points. The British representative Evan McPhillips won gold with an impressive 13.800 points.

The Bulgarian delegation included six athletes from different clubs. For men, the team consisted of Borislav Zhekov from "Intercom Group Chernomorski Yunak", Nasko Mikov from "Pirin Blagoevgrad", and Nikolas Nakov from "Levski-Spartak". The women's team comprised Kristin Krasteva ("Yunak"), Tsvetomira Nacheva ("Spartak Plovdiv"), and Valentina Balkandzhieva from "Intercom Group Chernomorski Yunak".
