The prestigious Bulgarian film "Trap" by director Nadezhda Koseva embarks on a large-scale tour in Mexico, with the first screening scheduled for today, August 10, in the city of Puebla. The official announcement was distributed through the official Facebook page of the Bulgarian embassy in the country.
The film production will also be presented in other significant Mexican cities. On August 31, viewers in Guadalajara will be able to enjoy the film at the Cineforo UdeG cinema, located in the city center. In parallel, screenings are planned in Xalapa, Veracruz - at Ágora de la Ciudad Parque Benito Juárez, as well as in San Luis Potosi, with the date for the last location yet to be confirmed.
"Trap" is a remarkable co-production between Bulgaria and Germany, which won impressive awards at the 42nd edition of the national film festival "Golden Rose". The film received prestigious awards, including Best Male Lead for Alexander Trifonov, Cinematography for Kiril Prodanov, and the Special Jury Prize for a Feature Film.
The screenplay is by Boyan Papazov, and the cast includes Alexander Trifonov, Yanitsa Atanasova, Dan Nikolov, Mihail Stoyanov, Kamen Kalev, Nikolay Todorov, and Nikolay Chobanski. The artistic design was entrusted to Ivelina Mineva, the music was composed by Asher Goldschmidt, the sound is the work of Momchil Bozhkov and Andreas Hildebrand, and the editing was done by Nina Altaparmakova.
