Young Bulgarian athlete Christian Kasabov demonstrates exceptional form at the European Youth Athletics Championship for athletes under 20 years old in Tampere, Finland. In an extremely competitive semifinal series, the athlete achieved a remarkable result of 13.52 seconds.
In the second sequence, Kasabov finished second, overtaken only by British athlete Toby Wright, who recorded a time of 13.51 seconds. Despite being minimally behind the third position by one hundredth of a second, the Bulgarian managed to secure a prestigious fifth place among all semifinalists.
Before the final race at 19:15 Bulgarian time, Kasabov had already improved the national record during the qualification series with an impressive 13.49 seconds. His qualification fits into the strong performance of the Bulgarian delegation at the championship.

Additional Bulgarian participation is expected with Iva Deliverska's appearance in the 100-meter hurdles semifinals, while Zinga Barboza Firmino, Natali Kostova, and Siyana Brumbanova will fight for top honors.
