The successful Bulgarian-Ukrainian business forum, organized last year by the BCCI and BUIK in cooperation with ИАНМСП and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, was reviewed during the meeting. Simeonov emphasized that the large number of companies from both countries present shows the existing interest in developing bilateral relations. The process of preparing the next edition of the forum in the second half of 2025 was also discussed.

Simeonov also stressed the need to achieve a ceasefire in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as without the stabilization of the situation, the realization of major trade and economic projects cannot be expected. He emphasized that now is the time to create partnerships between companies and prepare for the upcoming process of recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine.

BCCI will provide additional information on upcoming initiatives in this direction.
