In response to the National Assembly's declaration regarding cohesion policy, a response arrived from the office of the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, which positively acknowledges the National Assembly's proposal.
In this context, comprehensive and coordinated support will be provided to member states and regions that are directly or indirectly affected by the negative consequences of the war in Ukraine.
Gardev reminded that, at the proposal of ITN, supported by the GERB, BSP, 'Vazrazhdane', DPS, 'Alliance for Rights and Freedoms', 'Morality, Unity, Honor' parties, the National Assembly adopted a declaration, in which it emphasized that the key importance of cohesion policy for the economic development of the regions in Bulgaria is of particular importance.
