Minister of Tourism Dr. Ilin Dimitrov and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Poland, Anna Janiszewska-Fronczek, discussed new strategies for the development of tourist exchange.
Focus on year-round tourism
"The Polish market is developing extremely well, and we want to turn this sustainable growth into even more year-round trips," said Minister Dimitrov.
- Business cooperation: A forum with Polish tour operators and a roadshow for Bulgarian companies are planned for September.
- Transport connectivity: Good air connections with Sofia, Varna, and Burgas are a key factor for the growth of Polish tourists.
- Winter tourism: Minister Dimitrov proposed a presentation of Bansko to the diplomatic corps in 2027.
The Ministry of Tourism is actively working to attract foreign markets, having recently held meetings with representatives from Japan, Turkey, Germany, Romania, and Vietnam.
