The Bulgarian airline "Bulgaria Air" (Bulgaria Air) received an excellent rating from Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam for its green policy and its updated air fleet, the company announced.

The Dutch airport noted in December that "Bulgaria Air" is one of the best-performing airlines in terms of reducing noise pollution and carbon emissions by 2025.

Schiphol Airport, one of the largest on the continent, reported significant progress in the activity of "Bulgaria Air" this year. Thanks to the new Airbus A220 aircraft, the carrier has operated 99 percent of its flights to and from Amsterdam with machines from the most favorable noise categories S6 and S7, and data for the period January-October 2025 show that 600 flights out of a total of 608 flights met these criteria.

The report from Schiphol Airport emphasizes that the excellent data for the flights during the 10 months represent a serious improvement compared to the same period in 2024, when the airline's result was 78 percent, "Bulgaria Air" points out.
