An intercity bus caught fire while in motion this evening, causing panic among the passengers. The incident, which could have turned into a tragedy, happened shortly after the turnoff for the village of Mirolyubovo in the direction of Aytos.
A BNT reporter, on the scene, felt the strong smell of burning and the tension that was read on the faces of those present. The fire, which broke out unexpectedly, quickly engulfed the bus. Cut off from the fiery hell, the group of passengers watched the destruction of the vehicle.
The police confirmed to BNT that, fortunately, there were no casualties among the passengers. This is perceived as a great relief against the background of the difficult situation.
