Scandal at ViK-Nesebar: Management arrested
Today, the Prosecutor's Office in Burgas is expected to provide clarification regarding the case of the arrested management of ViK-Nesebar. The operation, conducted on Friday, revealed a corruption scheme related to the connection of a property to the water supply network.
It concerns a bribe worth between 7,000 and 9,000 euros, accepted by the head of the company and his deputy.
Details of the operation:
- Senior officials of the Nesebar branch of the water utility company have been detained.
- The arrests were carried out immediately after the money was received.
- The investigation focuses on abuses regarding connections to the network in a villa zone of the village of Kosharitsa.
Law enforcement authorities are expected to formalize the number of defendants and the remand measures that will be imposed.
