In the village of Tsarevets, near Svishtov, the arrest of a man and a woman suspected of torturing animals has been carried out. The action was conducted by the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime (GDBOP), in cooperation with foreign services.
Detelin Avramov (53) and his accomplice have been detained. The atrocities were carried out in an auxiliary building and a garage, and leather costumes and devices were used for the violence.
The premises were searched, and evidence of the violence was found, including video materials. The detainees were selling the recordings online.
The prosecutor's office has initiated pre-trial proceedings. The measures for the detention of the detainees are expected to be reviewed tomorrow.
