You give me your trust and I accept it, despite the agreement of a limited choice. This was said by the Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) Andrey Gyurov, who was tasked by President Iliana Yotova with forming a caretaker government.
I will approach with reason and responsibility, said Gyurov. The situation is not normal. This is a situation in which no one trusts anyone, he added.
You hand me the folder, I take it, and everyone knows what follows from here on, he addressed Yotova. I understand how many expectations are focused on us and I understand what the task is, and it is to have honest elections, for people to see meaning and to vote, and to work without creating hysteria, also commented Andrey Gyurov.
In order to have confidence in the government, people must first trust the individuals who represent it, he said. Therefore, in the coming days I will do everything possible to find the people and assemble a team in which everyone will find their image, Gyurov assured. According to him, these will be people who present themselves not with their political positions, but with experience, expertise and decency.
I understand that at this moment no one expects to be invited to a caretaker government, which is burdened with extremely high expectations, commented Gyurov. He also suggested the possibility of someone's name from the caretaker cabinet being tarnished. But these people will be there with their experience, expertise and decency, he confirmed. According to him, these will be people who will not impose themselves with aggression, will not act impudently, but will sow calm.
We do not expect a credit of trust, we do not expect trust either, we expect the opportunity to prove ourselves with work, Andrey Gyurov emphasized.
