Andrey Gyurov Discussed Early Elections and Events in the Middle East with EU Ambassadors

Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov met with heads of EU missions to discuss the upcoming elections, events in the Middle East, the budget framework, and other current topics. The importance of a fair vote and the stability of Bulgaria were emphasized.

Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov met with the heads of missions of the European Union (EU) member states. The meeting was held at the invitation of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The main topic was the preparation for the early elections on April 19. Gyurov emphasized the caretaker government's commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent vote, including “zero tolerance” for electoral violations.

Yesterday, a briefing was also held after the first meeting of the Coordination Council for the preparation of the elections, where up-to-date information on the preparation for the vote was provided.
