Two successful police operations against drug trafficking in Burgas
Officers from the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas conducted specialized operations against the production and distribution of narcotic substances, which resulted in arrests and the seizure of prohibited substances.
Drug laboratory dismantled in the home of a 42-year-old Burgas resident
On May 28, during a search of a private home on "Zalesitelna" Street, police officers discovered 6 grams of methamphetamine, as well as equipment and precursors for the production of synthetic drugs. The occupant of the residence has a criminal record, has been previously convicted, and is currently under "house arrest".
A fast-track proceeding has been initiated against the detained man in connection with the case.
1 kg of marijuana seized in "Izgrev" residential complex
A day earlier, on May 27, officers from the Fifth District Police Department in Burgas conducted an inspection of an apartment in block 24 in the "Izgrev" residential complex. A 28-year-old man with a criminal record was identified there, and approximately 1 kg of marijuana was found in his possession. The individual was detained for up to 24 hours, and pre-trial proceedings have been initiated regarding the case.
- 6 grams of methamphetamine and laboratory equipment were seized.
- 1 kg of marijuana was confiscated during the special operation.
- Both perpetrators are individuals from Burgas with criminal records.
