Changes in the leadership of the Muslim Denomination
The Muslim community in Bulgaria is undergoing an important organizational transformation. At a held meeting, a decision was made regarding the new distribution of key positions within the religious structure.
"Continuity and development are the leading priorities for our future work," representatives of the denomination commented.
Here are the main highlights of the changes made:
- Ahmed Hasanov has been elected as the new Grand Mufti. He takes responsibility for the operational management of the denomination.
- Mustafa Alish Hadzhi, the former Grand Mufti, moves to the position of Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council.
This reshuffle aims to optimize the institution's work and continue the established traditions within the community. The new composition is expected to focus on educational initiatives and the social engagement of the Muslim denomination in the country.
