The fire department's report: 67 fires and 51 rescue operations
A total of 67 fires were extinguished over the past 24 hours, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" at the Ministry of Interior reported. As of 6:00 a.m. this morning, the information shows that firefighters responded to a total of 126 incident reports.
The most serious incident occurred in the village of Bukovlak, where a 74-year-old woman with limited mobility was injured in a house fire.
Details of the incidents:
- With direct material damage: 21 fires (9 in residential buildings, 1 in an industrial building, 3 in outbuildings, and 4 in vehicles).
- Without material damage: 46 fires, mainly in dry grass, forest litter, bushes, and waste.
- Rescue operations: 51 operations were carried out, including 5 for road accidents.
Eight false alarms were also registered, the department clarified.
