18-year-old arrested in Burgas for a series of thefts in Gorno Ezerovo

An 18-year-old from Gorno Ezerovo has been arrested in Burgas for a series of thefts. Items worth over 8,000 leva were stolen. The police have found and seized all the stolen items.

As a result of operational actions by officers from the Fourth Regional Police Department in Burgas, an 18-year-old youth from the "Gorno Ezerovo" neighborhood has been detained.

The youth is accused of a series of thefts committed in the last few weeks.

According to the information provided, the first crime was committed on September 18th of this year. From a premises on "Perla" street in "Gorno Ezerovo" were stolen various items, including a loudspeaker, two microphones, a music device "mixer", a laptop, and donations worth around 100 leva. The total value of the stolen items amounts to about 1,600 leva. It is important to note that all stolen items were found and seized by the police.

On the same day, September 18th, the youth is accused of stealing three loudspeakers from the same neighborhood. The total value of the stolen items amounts to 2,130 leva. In this case as well, the stolen items were found and seized.

On September 20th, the same youth is accused of causing damage to the power transmission system and the entrance door of a private home on "Albena" street in "Gorno Ezerovo". In addition, he was preparing to steal items with a total value of 400 leva. All items planned for theft were found and seized.

On September 22nd, the youth committed a theft of a phone worth 500 leva from a private home on "Minzuhar" street in "Gorno Ezerovo". The phone was found and seized.

On September 24th, from a farmyard on "Borovets" street in "Gorno Ezerovo" were stolen items such as a bag with cut copper cables, five shower faucets, and an extension cord with a length of 50 meters. The total value of the stolen items amounts to 600 leva. All stolen items were found and seized.

September 29th turned out to be particularly busy for the detainee. From a private home on "Minzuhar" street in "Gorno Ezerovo" were stolen a speaker, a drill, and other tools and items with a total value of 2,000 leva. On the same day, from an auto repair shop on "Druzhba" street in "Gorno Ezerovo" were stolen cables with a total value of 1,200 leva. In both cases, the stolen items were found and seized.

The last crime for which he is accused was committed on September 30th. From a private home on "Breza" street in "Gorno Ezerovo" was stolen a music mixer worth 800 leva. The mixer was found and seized.

The detained 18-year-old youth from "Gorno Ezerovo" has made full confessions for the crimes committed. By a prosecutor's order, he is detained in custody for a period of up to 72 hours. The investigation to document his entire criminal activity continues, and additional evidence is currently being gathered. The atmosphere in the area remains tense, as local residents express both relief from the detention and concern for the future.
