18-year-old Petar Chavdarov from Burgas is the winner of the 12th edition of the national literary competition 'And Children Conquer Worlds. Show that you can!'.
He impressed the jury with a unique style and a powerful story.
The theme for 2026 was 'Before I Fall Asleep...' in the format of a short story. This provoked over 100 young authors from all over the country to share personal reflections, inner dialogues, and strong artistic stories.
The competition is aimed at all young people aged 14 to 19.
The works were evaluated by a jury consisting of: the writer Alexander Shpatov, the journalist Vasil Hristov, and the pedagogue Dr. Dobrina Topalova.
The names of the winners have been published on the Foundation's website and social media.
The competition continues its mission to support young writers and to encourage meaningful use of the Bulgarian language.
