Russian attack in Svetlovdsk - an industrial enterprise and residential buildings were damaged

As a result of a Russian air attack during the night of May 28 in the city of Svetlovodsk, Kirovohrad region, an industrial enterprise and a large number of residential buildings were damaged. According to the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andriy Raikovich, the fire has already been localized, and three people were injured in the shelling.

Additionally, as a result of the Russian air attack in the city, 76 private houses and a nine-story residential building were damaged. Currently, more than 1,400 subscribers are without electricity.

The city of Svetlovodsk is located in the Oleksandriia district of the Kirovohrad region, with the main part of the city situated on the rocky banks of the Taburyshche peninsula, on the right bank of the Kremenchuk reservoir. The population of Svetlovodsk is around 42,000 people.

We recall that since the evening of May 27, the Air Force has detected the launch of several groups of strike drones by the Russian occupiers towards Ukraine. Additionally, during the night, the military reported a threat of Russian missile strikes, including in the Poltava region, where explosions were heard.
