A fatal road accident near Burgas claimed three lives.

On June 11, in the area of the junction for the village of Konstantinovo, on the road Burgas-Sredets, a head-on collision between two passenger cars occurred. The driver of one of the cars - a 62-year-old man from Burgas, died in the hospital on June 11. The 82-year-old woman from Burgas, who was traveling in the back seat of the other car, died on the spot. Subsequently, the 60-year-old driver of the second car, as well as his 77-year-old passenger in the back seat, also died. A 47-year-old woman from Sredets, a passenger in the car of the deceased Burgarian, was also injured with chest and abdominal contusions and continues her treatment in the hospital.

According to the investigation, the cause of the accident was the sudden entry of the 62-year-old Burgarian's passenger car into the oncoming traffic. The accident occurred on May 31, but two of the injured died later in the hospital.

The incident was registered at the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Burgas, where a police investigation into the case has been initiated. Over the past 24 hours, three other criminal offenses and one other traffic accident have been registered in the region, and eight crimes have been solved.
