A 23-year-old woman was injured in a traffic accident in the Slaveykov residential complex in Burgas. The incident occurred yesterday, at approximately 7:35 p.m., in the vicinity of Konstantin Preslavski School.

According to the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, an Opel Tigra, driven by a 41-year-old woman, was making a left turn. During the maneuver, the driver failed to yield to the pedestrian, who was crossing at a marked crosswalk, and struck her.

The victim sustained a head injury and abrasions on her palms. Following an examination at the University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment (UMHAT) in Burgas, she was released for home treatment.
