Primorsko Municipality and the Transfusion Hematology Department of UMBAL Burgas organized the drive. The blood is for patients for whom a blood transfusion can save their lives.
27 people gave blood at a charity drive in Primorsko, the town municipality said.
The drive was organised by Primorsko municipality and the transfusion haematology department of the University Hospital in Burgas. A medical team from the department collected the blood. It will go to patients whose lives a transfusion can save.
The name of the drive carries its message: to save a human life, sometimes all it takes is to give a piece of yourself.
The municipality thanked all the donors and the medical team.
