Police found cannabis and methamphetamine in a car in the Rudnik district of Burgas and detained an 18-year-old passenger from Orizare for up to 24 hours, the Burgas regional police directorate (ODMVR) said.

Earlier the same day, officers from the First District Police Department searched the home of a 46-year-old Burgas man in the Pobeda district and also found methamphetamine.

Officers from the Fifth District Police Department stopped a Peugeot 206 on Friday at about 11.55pm. The driver, 24, was from Orizare. Two friends from Orizare, aged 17 and 18, were travelling with him. The 18-year-old was detained.

Police seized a rolled joint with about 5g of dry green plant material, which is cannabis, and about 5g of a white crystalline substance, which is methamphetamine.
