Repair activities on the Trakia Motorway in five regions until June 26
From June 24 to 26, repair work will be carried out on various sections of the Trakia Motorway in the regions of Sofia, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Yambol. Traffic will be restricted and rerouted, and for the safety of travelers, careful driving and compliance with the restrictions are appealed for.
Temporary restrictions for heavy trucks in Northern Bulgaria due to hot weather
Due to the expected high temperatures over 35 degrees, from June 24 to 27, the movement of trucks over 20 tons will be restricted on key road sections in 9 regions of Northern Bulgaria. The measure has been taken to minimize the risks of road surface deformations and to ensure the safety of travelers.
The construction sector in Bulgaria will record moderate growth until 2027, according to an analysis by the Institute for Economic Policy.
According to a report by the Institute for Economic Policy, the total construction output in Bulgaria will grow by an average of 3% per year in the period 2025-2027. The forecast is for stronger growth in the middle of the period, when the absorption of European funds is expected to accelerate. Residential construction will record the weakest results, while non-residential and civil engineering construction have greater growth potential.

The Ministry of Economy and Industry and the National Company "Industrial Zones" support an investment of nearly 7 million Bulgarian leva for the construction of a new warehouse building with an area of 7,530 square meters in the Industrial Park Sofia-Bojurishte. The project will create 120 new jobs and contribute to the development of the region.
