The Ministry of Transport has launched a public discussion on the award of passenger rail services.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications has published a draft for the determination of the conditions for the selection of carriers for the provision of passenger rail transport in the country. It is planned that the railway network will be divided into three regions, with each being served by a corresponding regional depot. The contracts will be for a term of 12 years, and the procedure for their conclusion will be announced by the end of July 2025.
Repair of joints on Struma Motorway in the direction of Sofia

This regulation guarantees the rights of passengers and improves the quality and efficiency of rail services. It regulates the rights of passengers, including the provision of information, accessibility for people with disabilities, compensation for delays and cancellations of trains.
