New legends on the pitch for the "Match of Hope"
The list of participants in the charity "Match of Hope" continues to grow. Three more renowned footballers are joining the spectacular event:
- Ivaylo Petkov – Three-time champion with "Litex", champion of Turkey with "Fenerbahçe", and an iconic player for our national team.
- Georgi Chilikov – One of the most prolific strikers in Bulgarian football, champion and top scorer of the "A" Group for 2003.
- Milen Petkov – Footballer of the Year of the "A" Group for 1998/99 and a key figure in the Greek AEK.
They will join a galaxy of stars such as Stiliyan Petrov, Dimitar Berbatov, Martin Petrov, Krasimir Balakov, and a number of foreign legends, united by one noble mission.
Mission and goals
The "Match of Hope" is not just a sporting event, but an act of solidarity. The funds will be directed towards:
- Support for the Comprehensive Oncology Center in Burgas;
- The treatment of football legends Petar Hubchev and Luboslav Penev;
- Help for patients with oncological diseases across the country.
How to support the cause?
Tickets for the event are already on sale online through the Eventim.bg network, as well as at partner locations (OMV gas stations, Technopolis, Orange, Office 1). For fans in Burgas, physical box offices have been provided at the "Clock" and in front of the Opera. Virtual tickets are also available for those who wish to help remotely.
