Residents of Orizare in Nessebar municipality have received a greeting for Petkovden, the village's feast day.
The message calls the village "the granary of Nessebar municipality". Its author says the village celebrates with pride its traditions and the work of generations of residents who helped it grow.
"May St Petka protect you and your families, and bring peace and prosperity to every home," the greeting says.
The author wishes the villagers health, wellbeing, warmth in their families and success in all the good things they start. The author is confident that efforts for Orizare's prosperity, and for a better future for the young people who return to the village, will go on together.
Petkovden is the day when the Orthodox Church honours St Petka, one of Bulgaria's best-loved saints.
