Residents of Burgas's new Horizont district are asking for a bus service and bus stops. They have sent a letter to Burgas city council.
They want the council to look at extending existing routes into the district, pointing to lines B2, B11, 11 and 12 as examples. As another option, they suggest a new line running into the heart of the neighbourhood.
They also want stops set up, temporary or permanent, on the edge of the district or inside it, so people can reach a bus safely.
"Right now the district has no link at all to the city's bus network," the residents wrote to councillors.
They say the area is filling up fast, with dozens of families already moved in or finishing their houses. Walking to the Izgrev district and nearby shops is hard and dangerous, they say, because traffic on Transportna Street is heavy and there is nowhere safe to cross or walk.
