An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale was registered at 21:43 in the area of Southwestern Bulgaria, announced the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography (NIGGG) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
There is data that the earthquake was felt weakly in the area of the town of Razlog. There is no information about injured people or material damage.
According to data from the institute, the epicenter of the tremor is located 8.2 km northwest of Razlog, Blagoevgrad region, and 86 km from Sofia. Its depth is 18 km.
At the beginning of last month, NIGGG registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 on the Richter scale in the area of Dupnitsa, Kyustendil region.
