Health minister Katya Ivkova is due to visit Burgas University Hospital today, where she will tour several wards starting at 12:00, the health ministry and the hospital said.
The wards she will visit have been renovated in recent months. She will also look at new diagnostic and treatment equipment bought under health ministry projects.
Burgas mayor Dimitar Nikolov, regional governor Diko Dikov, lawmakers from the region, and representatives of local health and academic institutions have been invited to join the visit.
After the tour, the minister will take questions from reporters at a short briefing.
