The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Burgas has detained for a period of up to 72 hours a suspect in the murder of a 48-year-old man in the "Sunny Beach" resort, the prosecution announced.
The crime was committed early Sunday morning.
Initially, a quarrel arose between the two in a disco in the resort. They were removed from the venue by private security guards. The 48-year-old started walking, and the other, along with four others, got into a taxi. In the area of a 24-hour shop around 5:30 am, the victim was intercepted by the taxi, and one of the passengers attacked him. It was established that death occurred as a result of multiple blows with hands and feet to the head and torso.
The prosecution is to request the imposition of a "detention in custody" measure.
