Police have arrested a 42-year-old Burgas man over a series of coin thefts from coffee vending machines in the Slaveykov district, police said. A total of €170 was taken from the machines.
Officers from the Second District Police Department in Burgas caught the man with help from colleagues at the Fifth District Police Department. He has a criminal record and prior convictions. Police said there have been many thefts in the district, all carried out the same way. They are still documenting all of his crimes.
Police in Pomorie solved a similar case. On Friday morning they received a report that €60 was missing from a coffee machine in Kableshkovo.
They detained three Kableshkovo men aged 23, 36 and 41. All three have criminal records and prior convictions. They fully admitted the theft.
The three face fast-track proceedings.
