Yettel Bulgaria is recalling its CL Mag5000 portable battery (Power Bank MagSafe 5000 mAh) because it can overheat and start a fire, the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance (DAMTN) said.
Three models are affected, with the codes PBMAGSFCOL5000WIRV, PBMAGSFCOL5000WIRK and PBMAGSFCOL5000WIRB. The company sold them only in black, from July 2025 to September 2026 inclusive.
The agency says the battery cell can deform as the battery wears out. It then overheats, which creates a risk of fire.
Yettel Bulgaria has already started recalling the batteries. The company explains how the recall works on its website.
