Wind farms produced 21.2% of Europe's electricity over the past 24 hours, according to daily figures from WindEurope. In Bulgaria, wind made up 5.5% of the power used.
Onshore turbines generated 1,381 gigawatt-hours, or 18.1% of all power across Europe. Offshore wind farms added another 232 gigawatt-hours, or 3.1%.
Montenegro got the biggest share of its power from wind, at 204.3%, ahead of Denmark at 98.3% and Greece at 60.8%.
In terms of output, Greece came out on top with 457.1 gigawatt-hours, followed by France with 155.6 and Spain with 149. Bulgaria's wind farms produced 5 gigawatt-hours.
