Wind produced just 0.5% of Bulgaria's electricity over the past 24 hours, compared with 12.4% across Europe, according to today's bulletin from the WindEurope Power Numbers platform.
Onshore turbines supplied almost all of the wind power: 846 gigawatt hours (GWh), or 11.7% of total output. Offshore wind farms added 55 GWh, or 0.7%.
Lithuania gets the biggest share of its electricity from wind at 80.7%, followed by Sweden with 68.4% and Finland with 57.6%.
By volume, Sweden leads with 226.9 GWh of wind power. Finland is next with 129.8 GWh, then Germany with 101.4 GWh.
Wind farms in Bulgaria produced 0.5 GWh over the 24 hours.
