Mountain tourism conditions
The Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) of the BRC informs that the conditions for tourism in the mountains are good. No incidents have been registered in the last 24 hours.
In the area of Botev Peak (Stara Planina), there is fog and strong wind, so tourists should be careful.
In the other mountain regions, the wind is moderate and the cloudiness is scattered. Temperatures currently vary between 5 and 12 degrees.
Weather forecast
According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, the weather in the mountains today will be mostly sunny:
- Afternoon: Temporary increases in cloudiness with isolated showers.
- Wind: Moderate from the north-northwest.
- Temperatures: At 1200 meters, around 22° is expected, and at 2000 meters – around 14°.
