Jacket in the morning, umbrella for the trip home
Today in Burgas, go out with a jacket and closed shoes. At 8 o'clock it is around 14 degrees and cloudy. Humidity reaches 85 percent, so the chill feels stronger than the thermometer shows. You will need the umbrella mostly in the evening, when you head home from work.
Tuesday is 7 degrees cooler than Monday. If you have work to do outside, in the yard or on the car, finish it by mid-afternoon.
17 degrees at 2 p.m., rain and 13 degrees at 8 p.m.
The clouds do not go away all day, but towards noon the air becomes drier. At 2 p.m. it is 17 degrees, the warmest of the day, and humidity drops to 63 percent. This is the most comfortable time for a walk in the Sea Garden or a short outing with the kids.
The sun sets at 18:33 and shortly after that it starts to rain. At 8 p.m. it is 13 degrees, and humidity rises to 89 percent. For the whole day, around 4 liters per square meter are expected, mostly in the evening. During the night it gets cool, down to 11 degrees.
The sun rises at 07:19. The day is 11 hours and 14 minutes long, three minutes shorter than Monday.
North wind around 19 km/h
The wind is from the north, and on the Seaside Promenade, near Atanasovsko Lake and on the road to Pomorie it will feel stronger than between the apartment blocks in "Lazur" or "Zornitsa", because there is nothing there to stop it. A scarf or a hooded jacket will be useful if you are waiting for a bus at an open stop.
The UV index is 4, but with thick clouds the sun hardly shows itself, and for a short outing you do not need sunscreen.
Wet asphalt at the busiest hour
The rain coincides with the evening commute home, when it is already dark. Drive more slowly, turn on your headlights earlier and keep a larger distance, especially on the exits from the city towards Pomorie and Sozopol. Drivers with summer tires feel the wet road first.
For running, the most suitable time is around noon, when it is dry and warmer. If you have outdoor training after 6 p.m., move it indoors to a gym. Children's afternoon training sessions may go ahead as normal, as long as they finish before sunset.
Rain for the fields after the dry end of summer
Around Pomorie and in the Sungurlare Valley, the grape harvest in mid-October is usually nearing its end, and sunflowers are normally harvested by the end of September. Today's light rain moistens the top layer of the soil and helps farmers who are now sowing wheat and barley.
Tomorrow's heavy rain is less convenient for them. In mud, tractors have difficulty getting into the fields and sowing may stop for a few days. Grapes that are still on the vine crack from too much water, so winemakers who have not finished try to pick them today while it is dry.
Wednesday: heavy rain and up to 12 degrees
Tomorrow it rains heavily, about 21 liters per square meter, the temperature is between 10 and 12 degrees, and the north wind strengthens to 27 km/h.
