Weather Forecast: Danger of hail and intense rainfall
After a calm night in the northern half of the country, the weather will become dynamic again tomorrow. According to data from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), after morning fog in the valleys, cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop during the day.
Expect short-lived but intense rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms. In Central Bulgaria, the northeastern regions, and the mountains, these phenomena will be most pronounced, with a real danger of hail.
Temperature indicators
- Maximum temperatures: between 25° and 30°, around 26° for Sofia.
- Black Sea coast: between 21° and 23°, with sea water around 20-21°.
- Mountains (1200m): around 22°, (2000m): around 14°.
The wind will be light to moderate from the north-northwest, and atmospheric pressure will continue to rise. At the beginning of next week, the unstable atmosphere will persist with summer temperatures and afternoon storms.
