In the next 24 hours, it will remain foggy and cloudy in many places in the plains and lowlands. A temporary improvement in visibility will occur in the afternoon. Light rain will fall in some places. It will be almost calm. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 3° and 2°, for Sofia - around 0°, maximums - between 1° and 6°, along the Black Sea coast – up to 9°, for Sofia – around 4°, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced.
Atmospheric pressure is below the monthly average. It will rise slightly, but will remain below the average value.
Along the Black Sea coast it will be mainly cloudy and visibility will be reduced in some places. Before noon it will be almost calm, and after noon a weak wind will blow from the east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 7° and 9°. The sea water temperature is 6°-9°. The sea swell will be 1-2 degrees.
In the mountains it will be mostly sunny. There will be an increase in cloudiness in the afternoon. A light to moderate wind will blow from the west-southwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 7°, at 2000 meters – around 0°.
On Sunday morning it will be almost calm or with a weak southerly wind. In many areas in the plains and valleys it will be foggy or with low cloud cover. Around and after noon the wind will strengthen. Visibility will improve, but the cloud cover will thicken. Light rain is possible in some places in Western Bulgaria. The warming will continue and the maximum temperatures in most of the country will be between 6° and 11°, in the southeastern regions up to 13°-14°, but in the northwest they will remain close to zero, there will be conditions for icy conditions. On Monday in Eastern Bulgaria, a moderate and strong southerly wind will continue to blow. There, temperatures will also rise further - the daytime temperatures will reach 15°-16°. The cloud cover will be significant, and there will be rain, in more places and more in quantity in Southern Bulgaria. In the western half of the country, the wind will be weak and in the northwestern regions there will again be conditions for icy conditions.
