Weather in Burgas and the region
In Burgas and the region on August 3, sunny and hot weather is expected. Daytime temperatures will reach between 29°C and 32°C, and the probability of precipitation is close to zero. The sea water temperature will be pleasant – around 26–27°C, which makes conditions suitable for swimming. A light to moderate wind from the east-northeast will blow, and the sea swell is expected to be 2–3 on the Douglas scale. Sofia and the region
In the capital and the surrounding areas, the day will be sunny, with maximum temperatures around 31–33°C. In the afternoon, a temporary increase in cumulus clouds is possible in some places, but the probability of short-term showers remains low – below 20%. The breeze will be light, coming mainly from the east-northeast.
Eastern and Western Bulgaria
In most parts of the country, it will be mostly sunny and hot, with temperatures between 32°C and 36°C, and in some western regions, the development of cumulus clouds with short showers and local thunderstorms is possible in the afternoon. The breeze will remain light to moderate, and the probability of precipitation in the eastern parts of the country is insignificant, while in the west it increases to about 30% in the afternoon.
In the mountains
In the mountain regions, the weather will be mostly sunny, with temporary cumulus clouds in the afternoon, especially in the western massifs. At an altitude of 1200 meters, temperatures will reach about 24–26°C, and at 2000 meters – about 18°C. The breeze will be moderate, from the north-northeast, and the probability of short-term showers is low, but not excluded in the afternoon hours.
Black Sea coast
Along the entire Black Sea coast, mostly sunny weather is expected, with temperatures between 28°C and 32°C. The sea water temperature will be around 26–27°C, and the sea swell will remain light – 2–3 on the Douglas scale. The breeze will be light to moderate, coming from the east-northeast. Under these conditions, the preliminary safety assessment for the beaches along the coast is a green flag, and it is recommended that bathers monitor the latest information from the beach services.
