Today_q_s meteorological conditions will mark a significant change compared to the previous day, Friday, with the key characteristic being the increased minimum temperatures. Thermometers will read values between 7° and 13° Celsius in most of the country. In the capital, a minimum temperature of 10° is expected, while along the Black Sea coast it will remain around 12°.
Regarding daytime temperatures, a slight decrease of approximately one degree is expected. The maximum values will be between 14° and 19°, with the mercury reaching around 15° in Sofia.
Before noon, cloud cover will be significant, with precipitation in the eastern half of the country and in the mountainous regions. However, this situation will change in the afternoon, when the cloud cover will quickly decrease and the weather will become mostly sunny. Saturday will be marked by strong winds. A strong northwesterly wind is expected, with gusts reaching around 80 – 90 km/h in areas with a yellow code warning.
Along the Black Sea coast, a temporarily strong northwesterly wind will also blow. Before noon, there will also be precipitation, but sunny weather is expected in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures along the coast will range from 15° to 17°.
In the mountains, the meteorological situation will be similar. Windy weather is expected with precipitation, which will turn into snow above 1800 meters. The precipitation will be more intense in the Central Stara Planina. A strong northwesterly wind will blow.
The forecast for the next few days predicts less windy weather. Mostly sunny weather is expected on Sunday and Monday. Minimum temperatures will be between 5° and 10°, and maximum temperatures between 15° and 20°. Rain is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday. Colder air will begin to penetrate, which will lead to a decrease in daytime temperatures by 2-3 degrees.
