Authorities in Burgas have announced the temporary closure of a key road section in the "Southwest" Industrial Zone. The measure is being imposed in connection with large-scale construction and installation works, which are part of the project to build new street and technical infrastructure in the area.

Details about the project and the duration of the closure

The project, which covers blocks 1, 2, 5, 10, and 4A according to the plan for the "Southwest" Industrial Zone, aims to improve transport connectivity and utilities in the area. To ensure the safety and effective execution of the activities, a full restriction on vehicle traffic will be introduced from 9:00 a.m. on September 9, 2025.

The street affected by the measure is an internal road artery in the industrial zone, and the closure will cover the section from "Targovska" Street to road I-9 Burgas – Malko Tarnovo. Specifically, the restriction will be valid between markers 194 and 195, which includes the area behind the "Mr. Bricolage" store and in the immediate vicinity of the base of "Start Engineering" PLC – Burgas Branch.

The temporary traffic arrangement is expected to remain in effect for a period of two months.

The responsible institutions call on all drivers and road users to be understanding and to strictly follow the introduced temporary arrangement, as well as the road signs in the area. Although the closure may cause temporary inconvenience, it is a necessary step for modernizing the infrastructure and creating a better urban environment in the long term.
