Divers from Burgas will celebrate Christmas in a unique way – underwater! The event, organized by the "Friends of the Sea" association, will take place on December 24th at 11:30 AM from the platform of the pier on the central beach.
This year, the focus is on retro closed-circuit diving. The technology used in the past allows divers to breathe reprocessed air enriched with oxygen. This will be the first demonstration of such an event, providing an opportunity for participants to get acquainted with early achievements in underwater exploration.
Besides the people of Burgas, guests from the country are also expected. Traditionally, the divers will search for a pot of gold coins and discover champagne underwater. A Christmas tree will also be placed, creating a festive atmosphere.
We remind you that divers from Burgas recently mapped underwater objects along the South Black Sea coast, including 28 attractive diving spots from Nessebar to Rezovo. Signposts have also been placed in 25 locations.
