Temporary restrictions in "Topli Dol" tunnel
Due to scheduled cleaning of road signs, the Road Infrastructure Agency is implementing temporary traffic arrangements in the "Topli Dol" tunnel on the Hemus motorway.
Traffic will be managed in stages, and drivers are urged to strictly follow road signaling and speed limits.
- Tube towards Varna: From 9:00 PM on August 6 to 12:00 AM on August 7, the active lane will be restricted (speed limited to 60 km/h).
- Tube towards Sofia: From 12:30 AM to 6:00 AM on August 7, traffic will be diverted to the passing lane (speed limited to 50 km/h).
Activities on August 7
Between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, ditches will be cleaned in the section between the 74th and 78th km (Lovech region). Traffic will not be stopped, but work will be carried out in the emergency lane.
"Daskalovo" junction
Cleaning will also continue at the "Daskalovo" junction (19th km of Struma motorway) overnight.
