Foreign minister Velislava Petrova will travel to Berlin tomorrow for talks with her German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, the Bulgarian foreign ministry said in a statement to BTA.
The two ministers will discuss ties between their countries and current international and European issues. Topics include security in the Black Sea, connectivity and EU enlargement.
Petrova and Wadephul will hold a joint press conference after the talks.
In October we reported that transport minister Georgi Peev arrived in Burgas after the first direct drone attack on ships in Bulgaria's exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea. The attack took place on 6 October, about 70 nautical miles east of Byala and Cape St Athanasius.
Petrova visited Germany for the first time as foreign minister on 18 May this year. She was part of the delegation of prime minister Rumen Radev, which also included economy, investment and industry minister Alexander Pulev.
