In February, the validity of 371,642 annual vignettes expires. Every driver can check until when the vignette of the car he drives is valid on the website of the National Toll Management www.bgtoll.bg from the button "Vignette Check", announced the Road Infrastructure Agency.
The road agency urges drivers to be careful and buy the vignette they need from the website, the mobile application or the partner network at the specified price without any additional fees.
In 2026, the prices of the vignettes are the same as in 2025 and are written in euros and leva, API reminds. The recalculation is done automatically at the official fixed rate and no additional actions are required from users. When paying in cash until January 31, it is possible to pay in both leva and euros, in accordance with the rules for the introduction of the single currency. Payments electronically are in euros.
From February 3, the one-day vignette will also be introduced, it is recalled in the press release. Like the other types, it will be valid for light vehicles up to 3.5 tons, for trailers and caravans, as well as for camping cars of category M1, regardless of their technically permissible maximum mass.
The prices of the vignettes in 2026 are as follows: annual – 49.60 euros (BGN 97), quarterly – 27.61 euros (BGN 54), monthly – 15.34 euros (BGN 30), weekly – 7.67 euros (BGN 15), weekend – 5.11 euros (BGN 10), one-day – 4.09 euros (BGN 8).
Last week, a draft Decree of the Council of Ministers (DCM) for the amendment of the Tariff for fees collected for passing and using the republican road network, adopted with DCM No. 370 of 2019, was published for discussion in the Public Consultation Portal. The changes are related to the introduction of the so-called additional component for carbon emissions to the toll fees for buses and trucks. The project proposes the introduction of the carbon dioxide component, starting from March 1, 2026.
