Urgent warning from the Municipality of Burgas to property owners
The Municipality of Burgas calls on all owners of unmaintained and uninhabited properties, as well as land with overgrown vegetation, to take timely actions for their cleaning. The deadline for complying with this instruction is June 30, 2026.
The risk of fires increases significantly with the onset of summer heat and the drying out of grass vegetation.
Uncleaned plots of land pose a serious threat to public safety, endangering neighboring buildings, as well as the health and property of citizens. According to the Ordinance on the Construction and Protection of the Green System, every owner is obliged to maintain their property in good condition.
- Obligations: Mowing and clearing of dry vegetation.
- Control: After the deadline expires, mass inspections will be carried out by municipal officials.
- Sanctions: If violations are found, acts will be drawn up and fines will be imposed in accordance with the regulations.
The Municipality calls for a responsible attitude in order to ensure a safer environment for all residents of the city.
