New rules for separate textile collection in Burgas
Burgas Municipality is introducing important changes in waste management. Effective from July 1, 2026, the separate disposal of unwanted clothing, footwear, home textiles, and other textile products will no longer take place through specialized containers on the streets.
The disposal of textile waste will only be possible at municipal mobile centers. The service remains completely free for citizens.
Why is this change being introduced?
The main goal is to reduce the amount of landfilled waste, protect the environment, and promote recycling. The Municipality urges citizens not to leave textiles next to the removed containers.

- Winter period: 08:00 – 16:30 (break 12:00 – 12:30)
- Summer period: 08:00 – 15:00 (no break)
